Edith Judith is a the indie/folk duo project of Chicago experimentalists Katie Ernst (vocals, bass, double bass) and Dustin Laurenzi (guitars, synthesizers, saxophone, clarinet, flute, vocals). They have received critical acclaim from PopMatters for their “beguiling style of indie folk” on their debut album, Bones & Structure, released on Ruination Records in 2022. For their Hideout show, Ernst and Laurenzi are joined by Devin Drobka on drums.

Led by Chicago keyboardist Erez Dessel, Treyf is an interstellar horn band. Their unique sound draws on klezmer, afrobeat, and funk, and follows in the multidirectional lineage of Chicago sound.
