Chicago cosmic explorers Spiral Galaxy return with a new LP!

Spiral Galaxy II is an ecstatic, deep-space voyage by flutist Sara Gossett and Plastic Crimewave on guitar/keys/machines. Expanding on their acclaimed 2020 debut album (which featured members of Faust and Acid Mother's Temple), the duo push further into long-form galactic excursions that touch on kosmische krautrock, astral folk, and grooving minimalism--for fans of Neu!, Popul Vuh, Ash Ra, Cluster, Terry Riley, and Faust.

Spiral Galaxy II on Cardinal Fuzz Records (UK)/Feeding Tube Records (USA) will be physically available for the first time at this release show, and many Windy City musician superstars who played on the album will be joining Spiral Galaxy for their set, and playing their own.

-Bobby Conn, who produced and played on the album, and his partner Monica BouBou (on violin textures) will headline with a special experimental sound excursion.

-Meditative synth-lord Jimmy Lacy aka SiP played on one LP track, and will play a full live solo set.

All will guest during Spiral Galaxy's performance, as well as others on the album, like avant improvisers Drazek Fuscaldo (Mako Sica), motorik country deity Lawrence Peters, and Plastic Crimewave Syndicate's Jose Bernal on percussion.
