Chicago's Radio Outernational blends Ethio-funk, psychedelia, and jazz grooves into a heady mix. Founded by the Eternals rhythm section of Wayne Montana, Areif Sless-Kitain and Aaron Shapiro, the quintet features a front line of flutes and saxophone from Hunter Diamond and Kenthaney Redmond. The band's debut album is coming in early 2027 from Shuga Records.
