Freak Show is a true variety show, featuring stand up, oddball performances, music, alt and character comedians, drag, and batshit slideshows. Submit an act or buy tickets and watch it all unfold. Hosted by comedian and local lesbian Sierra Kenyon, the lineup is curated with both veteran performers and submitted acts alike. If you have always wanted to do drag as a slutty Chicago landmark or be gay and insane LIVE, this is your chance.

Submitting an act:

Anyone can submit, and we aim to show performers from different backgrounds. We can’t feature everyone who submits because it’s against Sierra’s religion to run a variety show for longer than an hour. Click the link below for more info/to fill out the form. About the host:

Sierra Kenyon (She/They) is a science writer, comedian, and actor. She’s a contributor to the Chicago Reader and Pub with her recent “A Love Letter to the Mariano’s Bar” quickly becoming a crowd favorite. They perform their distinctive stand up and characters at the Lincoln Lodge, Zanie’s, Second City, Annoyance, and more. Her solo show, Sierra’s Ungodly Hour, sold out the Annoyance mainstage, and her hour of stand up (The Deep End) debuted at the Den last fall.

She’s been featured in commercial work, a fest-fave short film, and is a Marine Research Certified SCUBA and Free Diver. Sierra is represented by Grossman & Jack Talent. Follow her @sierra_skank_kenyon
