Adam Busch
Adam Busch, better known as the songwriter behind Manishevitz and Sonoi.

After the hyper-arrangement of Manishevitz, Sonoi was about a process of simplification, replacing horns and strings with space and a newly assertive guitar style that recalls Tom Verlaine's muted but vibrant cityscapes. His new songs pare back even further taking "Silver Canteen" from Sonoi's Tropics of Holland album as a jumping off point.
Manishevitz
Manishevitz
Manishevitz was a band of unique qualities. They brushed with fame, enjoyed raves from heavyweight critics, earned the admiration of their peers, and built a devout following, all while in the shadows of Chicago's musical landscape. Their music was unconventional and brainy. It was an exuberant celebration drifting into the cosmos itself, carrying with it timeless waves of well-mannered, truant, and thoroughly singular rhythms--all characteristics in parallel with the branding, 'cult status.'
Bevel
Bevel
BEVEL is the solo project of Via Nuon, a Chicago-based artist who employs a uniquely literary and painterly approach to the music he creates. Originally hailing from Richmond, VA, an oft-time contributor to artists such as Edith Frost and Simon Joyner, and a member of the groups Drunk and Manishevitz, Nuon executes his dreamlike psych-folk with the care and fragility of a cartographer. It informs the beauty in BEVEL's music, which bleeds out like details emerging from a map of a forgotten city.
