"Nobody does girl group meets punk meets garage any better than these ladies. Ronnie Spector singing the Munsters theme? Pretty much, yeah." - ..Loud Loop Press... "There is plenty of spookiness in the band's dreamy sha-la-la. This mostly female group pulls together all the drama and tragedy of the Shangri-Las and mixes it with classic garage rock." ~Jessica Hopper, Chicago Tribune (Local Bands on the Verge of Breaking Big-Time)..... "Thinking Hollows are all smiles and doe eyes is a wrong move, schoolchildren. Those bitches hide knives under their dresses." ~ Erin Roof, Minneapolis City Pages

When is noisy garage rock much more than that? When it’s produced by Chicago’s Radar Eyes, which is why even though their Plustapes debut was covered in a lo-fi grime, it still caught many people’s attention with its dark melodies and nearly pop hooks. Loud Loop Press

Chicago’s The Runnies play that infectious psychedelic garage rock you just can’t get enough of. Admittedly it seems garage gets throw around much these days. Two things I’ve got to say about that: Firstly, sloppily bashing out rock ‘n’ roll should never have to be in vogue. Hooks and catchy choruses played on guitars, drums, and, in this case, a Farfisa Fast 3 organ is the lifeblood of rock
