- James Van Osdol, Steve Dahl Network -

"Rip roaring rock, but with a sort of show tune sensibility, and these very, very, very funny lyrics. These guys are great. The songs are really wonderful melodically and they kick like the best rock should. You have to see Jinx Titanic live."
- Jim DeRogatis, Sound Opinions -

Carpacho y Su Super Combo
Carpacho y Su Super Combo
CARPACHO AND HIS SUPER COMBO started in 1986 with the main idea of integrating the band with musicians from various countries. The objective was to demonstrate the typical sound of music of each Latin American country. The band is succeeding to this end currently with musicians from the United States, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and the leader, from Medellin Colombia. We have been very successful in our performances in the cities of Chicago, Waukegan, Rockford, Peoria, Decatur and Springfield, Illinois; East Chicago, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and South Bend, Indiana; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Atlanta, Georgia; Milwaukee, Kenosha and Madison, Wisconsin; Cincinnati, Ohio. Our specialty in music consists primarily of tropical music like Salsa, Merenque, Cumbia and Bolero. We also play Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova. We feel successful when our audiences dance all night long, enjoying the music and truly having a good time.
