The Knit returns! Clark Jones, Will Miles, and Kenny DeForest return to the Hideout for a special show featuring some of the best in town!
Clark Jones
Clark Jones is a professional stand-up comedian who has appeared on Season 2 of HBO's Crashing and Night Train with Wyatt Cenac now streaming on the Stars network. He has appeared in national commercials for the STASH app and Comedy Central.
His specialty in flirty political comedy has drawn comparisons to Tone Bell and W. Kamau Bell. He was named one of the "11 Funniest Comedians in the Country" by BET and "One of the funniest people in Brooklyn" by Brooklyn Magazine.
His album "First of All" was released in 2018 and was in the top 5 on iTunes.
Will Miles
He is currently a writer on The Chris Gethard Show on truTV and can be seen on the next season of Hulu's Difficult People and HBO's Crashing. He was also recently named one of Brooklyn Magazine's 50 Funniest Comedians and COMEDY CENTRAL's 10 Comics To Watch. He has been a part of Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Hell Yes Fest, Brooklyn Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, and Accidental Comedy Festival just to name a few.
Miles cohosts the podcast, Hopefully We Don't Break Up, with fellow comedian Giulia Rozzi available for download on iTunes. He also cohosts the wildly popular show, Comedy At The Knitting Factory, every Sunday night in Brooklyn. His debut stand up comedy album, Good Year, is now available on iTunes, Spotify, and more.
Kenny DeForest
Kenny DeForest is a stand-up comic, comedy writer, and actor best known for his appearances on Late Night with Seth Meyers, HBO’s Crashing, TruTV’s Friends of the People, and as a former producer and co-host of Comedy at the Knitting Factory, widely considered to be one of the best independently run comedy shows in the country.
In 2017, he recorded his debut stand-up album "B.A.D. Dreams" with Comedy Dynamics, which debuted #1 on iTunes, and in 2015 he was named one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch." In 2018, he was invited to perform in the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal as a “New Face.”
Additionally, he has also performed in the New York Comedy Festival, Brooklyn Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, Riot Fest LA, Chicago Comedy Exposition, Accidental Comedy Festival, Red Clay Comedy Festival, and his work has been highlighted in "The Observer", "Time Out New York", and "The New Yorker".
