The Evening Attraction
The Evening Attraction are back at it again, with a new record out now! The End, Again, released March 3rd, 2018, was recorded, mixed, and produced at Treehouse Records Chicago on 2” tape.

The Chicago Bop-Rock four-piece made their debut in 2014 with a 10 track LP, Almost Desperate. Over the course of the next three years, Miles Malin, Paul Ansani, Nick Tumminello, Joey Abaroa - affectionately known as TEA, would release 4 singles, including The Kids Don’t Care, a 45” vinyl release on boutique Dallas label Classic Waxxx Records in the summer of 2016.

In the company of Twin Peaks and Post Animal, TEA has thrived in the deep-rooted DIY scene. Regularly playing every major venue in Chicago, TEA has opened for national touring acts including The Mystery Lights, Seratones, Little Green Cars, Night Beats, & The Nude Party. They made their SXSW debut in March 2017.

TEA’s recordings echo the harmonic structure of their favorite 60’s Rock and Roll groups, such as The Beach Boys and The Zombies. A vast influence from seducing Bebop era Jazz, Daptone Soul, to 60’s fuzzy garage riffs creates TEA’s formula of Rock and Roll that will make you swing, bop and bang your head. These boys’ brand of music is their expression of what they believe Rock and Roll should sound like in 2018.

The Slaps
The Slaps are a three piece band based out of Chicago, IL. Influenced by garage rock, delta blues, and surf jams (as well as local artists in Lexington KY and Chicago), they developed a unique, ever-changing sound they like to call “beach blues” or “rock-n-stroll.” The Slaps have since gained popularity playing the “DIY” scene of Chicago - selling out shows and hitting capacity at almost every show they've played. With a forthcoming full-length album as well as two music videos in the works, the future looks exciting for The Slaps.
