Helltrap Nightmare hosted by Sarah Sherman is a night of comedy horror and noise music terror that has garnered a cult following as well as critical acclaim for its unique(ly debased) format that allows experimental musicians and alt stand-up comics to share the stage in order to perform their wildest and most radical material.

Sarah Sherman is a visual artist, stand-up comedian and all-around Gross Girl currently living in Chicago. She runs a monthly showcase HELLTRAP NIGHTMARE: A Night of Comedy Horror and Noise Music Terror, that has been really freaking everybody out.

Jamie Loftus
Jamie Loftus is a comedian and cartoonist who lost her virginity on August 15, 2010. She currently writes and hosts "Upgraded" on Super Deluxe, writes and animates "Rat Teens" on Cafe, hosts the feminist podcast "The Bechdel Cast," has been named a Comedy Central Comic to Watch and is the writer and star of Comedy Central upcoming digital series "Irrational Fear." She has eaten over 400 pages of Infinite Jest and has her baby teeth bronzed and loaded into a gun.
Mitra Jouhari
Mitra Jouhari
Mitra Jouhari is a writer/comedian who lives in Brooklyn. She has written for "Miracle Workers" on TBS, "The President Show" on Comedy Central, and prior to that was a staffer at "Full Frontal w/ Samantha Bee". TV/Film Credits include: "The Big Sick", "Broad City", "Friends From College", "Full Frontal", as well as videos for the New Yorker, IFC, Comedy Central, Above Average, Refinery29's RIOT, and more. Her writing has appeared in McSweeney's, Reductress, Flaunt Magazine, Reality Beach, Splitsider, and Rookie. She is a member of the sketch groups Three Busy Debras and $700 Rules, and hosts a monthly variety show at Union Hall called "It's A Guy Thing". She is from Ohio which is why she is nice.

Good Willsmith
Good Willsmith processes guitars, synths, found physical media, and voices through multi-track looping hardware and chains of electronics. The trio incorporates elements of ambient, drone, noise, kosmische, minimalist, metal and Indian classical musics into long-form structured improvisations that overflow with volume and texture. Doug*, Max** and Natalie*** live in Chicago.
