Ever wanted to know what the inside of a mummified body looks like? JP Brown, the Field's Conservator for Pacific Anthropology, has put all sorts of crazy things inside a CT Scanner, including mummies from our Egyptian and Peruvian collections. Join us for a conversation about the Museum's work preserving artifacts, and just what high resolution scans of the dead tell us about what life was like thousands of years ago.
