Lindsay and the Lights Go Out
Lindsay and the Lights Go Out
Lindsay Weinberg's soulful voice and colorful lyrics evoke the boisterous energy of Chicago summer, the dim corners of a cabaret, and the bright lights of Broadway. Fueled by joyous melodies, rich horns, and a driving rhythm section, the sound is at once incandescent and insightful. Lindsay tells her honest stories through subtle composition and details that stick, inviting us to join her adventure through the little things in life that make the biggest difference in the size of our hearts.
Daniela Sloan
Daniela Sloan
Songwriter / Songstress, Daniela Sloan has the soulful classic sound of Nina Simone blended with the fresh approach and poetry of Jill Scott. Her original songs are "acoustic soul" and her sound lingers between hip-hop, blues, and latin as her Colombian heritage dictates. She has been writing and singing since age 11 and the combination of her warmth and strength as a singer give her performance particular allure when interspersed with her eloquent rap/poetry. In short- her music has been described as “audible chocolate” – rich vocals and intimate lyrics that leave you feeling satisfied with the depths of its flavor.

Daniela is a resident musician at one of Chicago's top blues & jazz clubs, The Underground Wonder Bar, as well as numerous venues up and down the North Shore. She is currently working in collaboration with 21st Century Hip-Hop and "La Voz del Barrio" a collective of Latino Poets and Musicians out of Chicago's Humbolt Park. Two years ago, Daniela begun writing and recording her original songs for Film Productions Companies throughout Chicago. Most recently, she wrote and recorded for SIGSALY Entertainment and DASH Entertainment.

Daniela is set to record this fall with Darwin Records backed by veteran session cats, Scott Bennett (bass) & Matt Walker (drums). Until then, her heart lies with the act of artistic collaboration and creation with artists throughout Chicago.
