Check out this message beamed out of the depths from King Roeser & Nash Kato:

Urge Overkill are pleased to formally announce our long-awaited return from the depths
of studio silence with a brand new offering: all aboard the Rock&Roll Submarine! We
are thrilled that this seaman's dozen o'fresh tracks reflect our time-tested love of all
things both Musical and Nautical. You can expect, loyal listener, the same-gauge
torpedoes Urge Overkill has always delivered on target. This controversial recording has
Em-URGE-d, and our sonic-sonar is set to "STUN." So check our WarBoard for all
updates, as we can't wait to recruit some new mates and herald our loyal fans.
Urge Overkill's first album in over sixteen years, Rock&Roll Submarine, has merited
much bravado, including a 4* rating from MOJO magazine. More em-URGE-ence:
Urge's Touch and Go album the "Supersonic Storybook" is rated Top14 in the Best of
1991's Top 20 albums, and 2013 marks the 20th anniversary of the seminal album
"Saturation.

You will recognize this voice from the chambers of Assy McGee, Bob's Burgers, and Ugly Americans. You will recognize his face, albeit if you imagine it without that mustache, as Jay from Delocated. He happens to be from Massachusetts. He is not, however, an Irish criminal.

Kurt Braunohler
Kurt Braunohler
Kurt Braunohler is an “adult” male comedian. In the spring of 2012 he was measured at 6’4”, weighing 204 lbs and tagged with a radio transmitter.

He was recently named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” as well as Time Out NY’s “50 Funniest New Yorkers”. He was even named another “Comic to Watch” by Comedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival. And finally (thank god) he was called the “Best Male Stand-Up” by the ECNY and “Best Unscripted Host” by the New York Television Festival, but those are probably made up organizations anyway.

Kurt has been seen (or heard) on TV in Bob’s Burgers (FOX), Delocated (Adult Swim), The Heart She Holler (Adult Swim), Comedy Central Presents, Jon Benjamin Has a Van (Comedy Central), Assy McGee (Adult Swim), Human Giant (MTV) and the anti-game show he hosts, BUNK!, will premiere on IFC in June. He can also be heard on the radio on This American Life talking about his relationship Rumspringa.

As a stand up, Kurt will debut his high-energy, absurdist point-of-view on Comedy Central’s John Oliver Presents in June. As far as stages, Kurt has performed at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival, Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and Chicago, New York Comedy Festival (named a “Comic to Watch”), SXSW, Bonaroo, All Tomorrow’s Parties, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (IF.Comedy Award nominee), Melbourne Comedy Festival (Barry Award Winner), the HBO Vegas Comedy Festival, the Chicago Improv Festival (“Improv Ensemble of the Year” Award Winner) and he once performed at Radio City Music Hall, but only because his comedy partner (Kristen Schaal) is pretty famous.

Kurt co-created a pilot for Channel 4 in the UK with his comedy partner, Kristen Schaal, for their popular web-series, Penelope: Princess of Pets. The duo also have hosted the NYC staple variety show, Hot Tub, for the past 7 years.

Kurt also hosts the monthly late night talk show, Night of the Living with Kurt Braunohler, with past guests including Zach Galifianakis, Ted Leo, and Jon Glaser. Kurt holds the World Record for leading the most people in an all-meow version of “Lean on Me” (it’s 117 people.)
