Los Hombres Perdidos

Los Hombres Perdidos is the brainchild of guitarist Colin Bunn (Andrew Bird’s Bowl of Fire, Mike Reed's Treehouse Project, Las Guitarras de España) who has enlisted some of Chicago’s indie rock royalty to perform traditional and original latin music with some modern zing.
What you see are gringos singing in Spanish but what you hear is some of the most artful, eclectic dance music this side of the border.
The music is inspired by latin music traditions that span the Americas - Mexican descargas flavored with Cuban son served with a side of Spaghetti westerns. If you want to hear modern latin dance music - salsa, merengue, or cumbia, etc. - look elsewhere. Los Hombres Perdidos play old-school latin music for the discriminating masses.
