Eddie Pepitone
Eddie Pepitone
They call him the Bitter Buddha, comedian Eddie Pepitone is a master of the dark art of comedy. Hailed as a modern day cross between Jackie Gleason, Don Rickles and Eckart Tolle. In addition to his regular stand-up shows, Eddie is stand-out comic/character actor. Beginning in New York City’s improv/sketch scene (where he quickly became a regular face), and continuing on to recurring roles on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Eddie has also appeared on numerous comedy TV shows, including The Life and Times of Tim, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Sarah Silverman Program, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Comic Standing, and Chappelle’s Show. Fans also might recognize Pepitone from his role in the hit comedy Old School or from his multiple award-winning short, Runyon: Just Above Sunset.
Ricky Gonzalez
Ricky Gonzalez
Ricky Gonzalez was raised in Evanston, IL. After his college and semi-pro baseball career, Ricky turned his focus on stand-up comedy which he has been performing for the past seven years in Chicago.
Alex Kumin
Alex Kumin
Alex Kumin's bold and socially conscious standup delights crowds across the city of Chicago and around the US. She is an instructor of Standup Seminary and Feminine Comique, and was selected to perform at the 2016 NBC Universal Breakout Comedy Festival. The Chicago Tribune recently lauded her “[energetic] focus on her body’s perceived shortcomings”, so please feel free to talk openly with her about sweating and excessive body hair.
Kevin Lobkovich
Kevin Lobkovich
Kevin Lobkovich started doing stand up at age 15 after not making the baseball team. Out of all the mistakes he's made, this has been has favorite one.
Sarah Sherman
Sarah Sherman
Sarah Sherman is a visual artist, stand-up comedian and all-around Gross Girl currently living in Chicago. She runs a monthly showcase HELLTRAP NIGHTMARE: A Night of Comedy Horror and Noise Music Terror, that has been really freaking everybody out.
Kyle Scanlan
Kyle Scanlan
Kyle Scanlan is a standup comedian and writer based in Chicago. Currently, he does not have any credits worth telling you about. But he’s good at this, he swears. He regularly performs on some of the top shows in the midwest. He created and writes for the Chicago based satirical website TheWhiskeyJournal.com. He’s even been on tv once before (don’t get too excited, it was a show called ‘Stupid Behavior Caught On Tape’). He also wrote this bio.
Stephanie Weber
Stephanie Weber
Stephanie Weber originally hails from outside Chicago and started stand up in New York before deciding to live in the best city on the planet. She writes satire for The Whiskey Journal and has also contributed to Reductress and Above Average. She performs stand up any where that will let her and is also a producer for Chicago Underground Comedy.
Derek Smith
Derek Smith
From the tangled web of Chicago comedy, middle-of-the country comedy clubs and dive bars emerges Derek Smith. Derek was a different kind of little kid. While everyone else was playing Power Rangers in the street, he was in his room letting Bill Cosby LPs flow into his ear to stew is in brain. In the comedy world he stands as a different kind of animal: one to be dissected, studied and thoroughly enjoyed.
