HELLTRAP NIGHTMARE
HELLTRAP NIGHTMARE
Helltrap Nightmare, a night of comedy horror and noise music terror that has garnered a cult following as well as critical acclaim for its unique(ly debased) format that allows experimental Noise Music musicians and alt Stand-Up comics to share the stage in order to perform their wildest and most radical material. Hosted by Sarah Sherman (recently named Best Stand Up Comic by the Chicago Reader!) and produced by Julia Dratel and Sarah Sherman!
Sarah Sherman
Sarah Sherman
Sarah Sherman is a visual artist, stand-up comedian and all-around Gross Girl currently living in Chicago. She runs a monthly showcase HELLTRAP NIGHTMARE: A Night of Comedy Horror and Noise Music Terror, that has been really freaking everybody out.
Glam Hag
Glam Hag
Molly Hewitt, who performs under the alias Glamhag is a Chicago based grown woman who can do what ever she wants. Both external and deliberate, Glamhag is a shitkicker and a thief, a king, a queen and a troll masquerading as a high class hooker. Glamhag is translucent, favorably showing only some of their inner workings. They are a sheep in wolf's clothing, trapped inside of the body of a woman. Glamhag uses the term glamour in the original sense of the word- to cast a spell, to entrance. It is said that witches and fairies have the power to glamour and with this power they can create the illusion that they are shapeshifting. A spell that makes one appear to be what ever way they wish to be seen. But it is only an illusion.

Nnamdi has toured extensively with bands in the U.S.A., Mexico, Canada, and Europe. He releases solo music under his own name, and often performs as Nnamdi's Sooper Dooper Secret Side Project. His music combines hip-hop, math, gospel, and jazz, and is often delivered with a sense of satire that can be just as critical as it is humorous.

Lori works in a variety of mediums and has shown her work internationally at festivals and spaces including the Rotterdam International Film Festival; NYFF: Views from the Avant-Garde; VideoEx, Zurich; Ann Arbor Film Festival; Festival du Nouveau Cinema, Montreal; Curtas Vila do Conde Film Festival, Portugal; Glass Curtain Gallery, Chicago; LA Filmforum; BAMcinemaFest, Brooklyn; Space Gallery, Pittsburgh.
