The Hideout’s Tim Tuten will be hosting Lana-a-Palooza at Lane Tech High School this Friday April 26 at 7PM

We encourage you to come and show your support for the Lane Tech Music Department who are organizing Lane-a-Palooza to raise money for the new Sound Engineering class. Next year Lane Tech will be the only high school in Illinois to offer a Sound Engineering class. ALL proceeds from the day & night shows will go towards purchasing equipment for the class.
The event will take place on Friday, April 26. The Lane-a-Palooza pre-party will be the “Battle of the Bands” portion of the event, kicking off immediately after school. It will feature six Lane bands, each accompanied by a guest teacher performer. This collaboration between students and teachers will give students a chance to see the teachers’ talents outside the classroom. In addition to all the fame and glory, the winner of the afternoon show will perform during the main event.

The main Lane-a-Palooza show ($10 at the door) will begin at 7pm. Bands scheduled to perform include The Chicago Blues Syndicate featuring American Idol singer (and Lane alum) Kiara Lanier, The Ungnomes, The Blisters, and The Delta 88’s featuring Dr. Chris Dignam. Additional bands have been submitting videos on the Lane-a-Palooza Facebook page.
