Hey Hey Everyone,
So much happening over here at The Hideout this week so let’s get right into it….
Tonight we’ve got one of our favorite Chicago songwriters, Thomas Comerford & The Reels. He had a stellar show here last autumn and we are so happy to have him back, this time with The Pillowhammer, and Jeff Harms supporting.
Friday is going to be an epic Interview Show with Mark Bazer and guests, the legendary Chicago artist Tony Fitzpatrick, chef/owner Michael Kornick of the new restaurant Ada St. down the block from us, author Rich Cohen, half of the production/DJ duo The Hood Internet STV SLV will be performing, and founder of Coach House Sounds Matt Baron.
Later that evening we have a SOLD OUT show with The Hood Internet, Psalm One, Prob Cause, Longshot, E Brown, and Fluffy. Be sure to check their Twitter feeds for some last minute ticket giveaways the day of the show if you didn’t get some.
It’s the first Saturday night of the month which means it’s time for Chances Dances to help you dance your way into midnight hour.
Sunday our friends at Homeroom present Physics for Listeners: A Composers’ Concert with Tim Daisy, Matthew Dotson, Dan Mohr, William Raynovich, Toby Summerfield, & Katherine Young all presenting new work!
Monday we’ve got Robbie Fulks who will be presenting Awful Eighties Night w/ Keely Vasquez and a full band!
Tuesday is the always eclectic sounds of Mar Caribe in the front bar.
Wednesday we have a very special early show with a very rare stateside appearance by the amazing Doug Paisley. This will be an intimate seated show so please get your tickets in advance since this will sell out soon.
A final reminder that our friends from Peasant’s Plot organic farm will start their C.S.A. drop off here on June 14th. You can still sign up to get your shares here!
See you soon,
